Getting Number Sequence Detective ready…

About this game

How to play

  1. Look at the jumps between the numbers.
  2. Pick (or type) the missing number.
  3. Solve 6 cases to close the file!

Three levels

  • Easy: Adding, taking away and counting in steps.
  • Medium: Doubling, halving and patterns that take turns.
  • Hard: Square numbers, triangle numbers and Fibonacci-style puzzles.

What this teaches

When a sequence looks random, subtract each number from the next. If those differences make a pattern, you have found the rule.
